Manufacturing in Central Alberta

Manufacturing is a thriving industry and important economic driver in Central Alberta. To help our manufacturers continue to succeed in a global economy, we promote innovation and strategies for enhancing productivity through a number of unique initiatives.

Through CAEP, manufacturers can connect with businesses, municipalities and government to access critical information and resources. We have also played a pivotal role in creating CARMA, the voice of our region's manufacturers, and strongly support the Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing at Red Deer College.

This section of our site introduces manufacturers to CARMA and the Centre for Innovation as well as a wide array of  business tools and government resources that can help you sharpen your competitive edge. Search our database of Central Alberta manufacturers to tap into local suppliers of products or services as well or to explore supply chain opportunities.

CARMA  Strength in Numbers
The Central Alberta Rural Manufacturers Association (CARMA) is a network of innovative manufacturers of all sizes, from a wide range of industries, collaborating for everyone's success.
Through networking and educational events, members access an amazing depth and breadth of technology, expertise and information. CARMA members often compare notes on local issues and global challenges and work together to develop unique solutions to common problems.
