 Central Alberta's closest port is the Port of Vancouver. It is the country's largest in terms of tonnage handled, and is the main terminal for goods moving between Canada and other Pacific Rim countries.
The three closest main ports of entry into the U.S. are:
- Coutts, Alberta / Sweetgrass, Montana
- North Portal, Saskatchewan / Portal, North Dakota
- Surrey, British Columbia / Blaine, Washington
