Community Futures Central Alberta
Community Futures are non-profit organizations guided by a volunteer board of directors and staffed with business professionals, who together are actively engaged in helping to develop and implement community-based economic development strategies.Community Futures Central Alberta provides high risk developmental business financing up to $150,000, business training and counseling, and entrepreneurial projects.Tools and special funding is also available to partner with Communities to assist with community economic development initiatives.
Community Futures are non-profit organizations guided by a volunteer board of directors. Our aim is to sustain our communities and assist their growth by identifying and promoting their advantages. We provide information, education and business counseling, and offer financial assistance as an alternative lender. Our programs are used to diversify the economic base of the region, to support new and existing businesses and to assist community cooperation.
Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI)
JEDI is a tripartite agreement implemented by the Council's of the City of Wetaskiwin, County of Wetaskiwin, and Town of Millet; with a common vision to promote healthy regional economic growth. Its mission is create a catalyst for healthy industrial growth.
Mirror and District Community Development Association
It is a good time to do business in Mirror. The Economy is strong in the local surrounding area; namely in the larger centres of Lacombe and Stettler. However, the Central Alberta Corridor is also a busy with economic activity.
Olds College
There are many reasons that Olds college has the high reputation that it does. 97% of students are satisfied with the overall quality of their educational experience. The hands on training is among the best in Alberta. Agriculture & Heavy Equipment students, for example, work on $4.5 million worth of the latest farm machinery and heavy equipment donated by major equipment manufacturers. Our campus features an arboretum, orchards, flowerbeds, Botanic Gardens, research and demonstration plots, and is located in Central Alberta and close to Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton. Olds College is within sight of the Rocky Mountains.
Olds Institute for Community and Regional Development
Olds Institute for Community and Regional Development encourages and facilitates community and regional economic growth and well being. Included amongst its members are four major institutions: Olds College, Olds Agricultural Society, Olds & District Chamber of Commerce, and the Town of Olds.

The Red Deer Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesspersons united to protect and promote business and commercial interests in the Red Deer area. The Chamber and its volunteers work to maintain a robust and balanced economy, as well as preserve the free enterprise atmosphere and overall quality of life in the community.
