Message from the Chair
On behalf of CAEP, I would like to welcome you to our website and
invite you to explore the opportunities and diversity of Central Alberta.
CAEP is a partnership of 41 Alberta Municipalities, 1 Indian Band and 14 Associate members with a mission "to enhance sustainable economic prosperity across Central Alberta by facilitating the collaboration between communities, business and government and by providing tools to assist member communities in economic development."
The main emphasis of CAEP is to engage in processes that cultivate, advocate and market the collective voice of the region. Our strategies build on the existing efforts and successes in the region and provide a solid direction for future collaboration to ensure regional success in the global market. One of CAEP's key objectives is to provide members who have limited capacity, the tools required to establish processes that support their economic development efforts. Growing successful partnerships is a direct result of the cooperation, coordination and commitment of our members along with ongoing supports from industry, education, and government stakeholders.
CAEP will continue to ensure that Central Alberta continues to be recognized as one of the most innovative and prosperous region in Canada through our strategic alliances, community readiness, and capacity building.
